Dr. Tiffany McCarthy was born and raised in Miami, FL. She received a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida. Those four years were quite memorable for Dr. Tiffany, not only did she head the Youth Tooth organization, she got to witness several National Championships as a Florida Gator. Dr. Tiffany then went on to complete a master’s degree in Biomedical Science at Barry University.
She completed her dental training at the state of the art, brand new facility at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Tiffany was able to learn with the latest technology that is available to the dental profession. Not only did she learn the most modern techniques for her patients, she also served as the President of the Student Government Association of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Tiffany was awarded the Dean’s Leadership Award, the Dr. Winfield C. Dunn Scholarship and The University of Tennessee Health Science Service award for her charitable work throughout Memphis. Dr. Tiffany was inducted into the Imhotep Society that only selects students that participated in service work, organized dentistry and exemplary grades. Due to her contribution to dental research, Dr. Tiffany was selected as a participant in the ADA Foundation Dental Student’s Conference in Research in Washington D.C.
Dr. Tiffany completed her professional studies at the established University at Buffalo and Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. Tiffany served as the Chief resident and graduated with a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry. This hospital and academic based residency program provided specialty training in pediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry, general anesthesia cases and care for children with special needs.
Dr. Tiffany’s main goal is to give every child a positive experience. She is inspired by Dr. Annette Lukasik’s lifelong passion for the patients and her profession. Dr. Tiffany has a calm yet fun approach for the children which establishes trust with the families in order to provide exceptional dental care.
Dr. Tiffany is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently a member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, the Eighth District Dental Society, and the Western New York Association of Pediatric Dentists.
Dr. Tiffany's greatest joy in life is being a mommy to Betty, Kenneth and Julia. Dr. Tiffany and her husband savor every moment with their kiddos. Besides being a mommy, Dr. Tiffany enjoys spending time with friends and family, skiing, swimming, and cooking. She loves attending all of the new happenings around Western New York. She is excited about all of the wonderful families she has been working with and is looking forward to meeting and greeting new patients!
